It’s quite a daily affairs of human beings. The two (2) aforementioned are mere related to the sociological and psychological aspects of human beings. In the course of daily activities or long-term activities, we do encounter both the physical and emotional obstacles. Which therefore threatens the success of achieving our goals.
Frustration in terms of obstacle to achieving monetary, educational or achieving desired goals is a worldwide issue. Relating it globally is that of a multi-dimensional aspect varying from the economic sector of investing and a non-profit result. Educational sector is not an exception affecting students and officials of the institution in terms of performance, inadequacy of financial and infrastructure provision, and other sectors of socio-psychology realms of life.
Frustration from the other hand can be viewed from the angle of our own hand-building situation. This therefore includes the emotional stress of achieving economic goals beyond our reach, lack of planning and concentration on the development of academic, health, economic and cultural issues. Thereby this makes frustration to be a central force in all aspects of life.
SOURCES OF FRUSTRATION
Frustration is said to be bad for everyone but here, we shall be looking at some of the sources.
When an environment is not favorable, it affect one and by this leads to frustration. Sometimes frustration could also grow from our surrounding environment in which we live or work. By this, the unfavorable environment is responsible for growing frustration in one’s mind.
We as humans have desires as well as expectations. But sometimes, we don’t get our desired goals not because of anything else but because we have limited capabilities. By this personal frustration occurs due to this inability.
This type of frustration sometimes occur in the working sector. Whereby when there’s a kind of disagreement between the owner of the company and its workers, the workers therefore get nervous. Therefore this kind of psychological pressure turns into frustration.
Overcoming frustration is the aspect of “self-control”, which is basically a socio-psychological process of which self-discipline comes first in cooperating planning and coordination of activities with a focus. Therefore, diligence and precautionary processes are necessary in overcoming frustration in our daily or long term activities. Self-control as an emotional process or caution of overreacting verbally or physically to different issues. Thereby of which approaches are varied, depending on the situation.
